顧毓琇博士
Dr. Y.H. Ku (顧毓琇博士) was President of National Central University in China, in 1941. I studied at the Central University from 1946 to 1949 before I went to University of Toronto to study in the Autumn of 1949. In 1957 when I was an Assistant Professor of Electrical Technology at the Broome Technical Community College of the State University of New York, I went to University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to attend graduate classes there. I met Dr. Ku at his home. I took a number of courses from Dr. Ku. Eventualy, Dr. Ku was appointed as Chairman of my Ph.D. Examination Committee. After I passed my Ph.D. oral examination, Dr. Ku was the first professor to congratulate me. We became very close friends. He would tell me
about most current events happening in The Republic of China as well as the Mainland China. Amount them, Dr. Ku told me that Jiang Zeming was my schoolmate.

加9月30 日的建國四十周年慶祝宴會后，10月2日到中南海訪問江澤 民總書記。

江澤民總書記曾寫一詩贈顧毓琇博士：
重教尊師新地天，
艱辛攻讀憶華年。
微分運算功無比，
耄耋恢恢鄉國篇。
顧毓琇博士和詩一首：
海外欣逢米壽年，
興邦建國仗群賢。
遙聞亞運精神健，
日月光輝耀碧天。
江澤民主席寫給顧毓琇的信:
美國費城顧毓琇先生。尊敬的顧老師：
來信收悉。去年 十月訪美期間，我很高興
有机會在費城看望您和王師母。雖然 時間短暫，但令人難忘。謹此复信祝您和王師母身
体健康，万 事如意。
在最近閉幕的九屆全國人大一次會議上，我再次當選為中 華人民共和國主席。人民
的信任和重托，使深感肩負使命和 責任的重大。我將恪盡職守一如既往，盡我所能為祖
國和人民服務。恭頌春祺。江澤民1998年4月2日。"
